Khorasan Steel Complex Company (KSC.CO) has secured, for the first time, the bronze medal of the 2019 HR Excellence Award (HR 34000: 2019) in the Fourth National Conference on Management of Human Resources.
The daylong conference, which was held in the University of Tehran on January 8, 2020, brought together a host of managers and professors involved in HR management and awarded top companies and organizations in public and private sectors when it came to the maturity of their HR management, according to the Public Relations Office of Khorasan Steel Company.
In the ceremony, Khorasan Steel Company's Managing Director Dr. Kasra Ghafouri was awarded the bronze medal of the HR Excellence Award (HR 34000 Award).
Khorasan Steel Company underwent auditing on its premises on December 28, 2019 by the auditors of the University of Tehran which hosted the 4th National Conference on Human Resource Management. The comprehensive audit covered all HR processes in areas such as personnel affairs, welfare, HR planning and education, and employee safety, hygiene and health.
The auditors described as “highly effective” the measures the company has taken on the HR front in recent years in increasing employee satisfaction and improving their sense of responsibility and attachment.
The HR 34000 Award, which was introduced to the HR Management sector in 2012, has improved in stages. The award aims to help different organizations in the country walk down the path to excellence by critically analyzing their HR Management processes.
It should be noted that the 34000 Standard defines five levels of maturity which set the stage for the constant improvement of 14 HR processes. By applying this standard, organizations set criteria to guarantee their efficiency and performance in the form of these processes and monitor 12 key HR approaches.
