VP Visits Khorasan Steel Exhibition

Vice President of Science and Technology Sorena Sattari on Monday paid a visit to the Permanent Exhibition on Development and Domestic-Made Technology Khorasan Steel” and inspected measures for indigenizing technological needs of Khorasan Steel Complex and amount of investment.
During his visit, Mr. Sattari praised the measures and performance of Khorasan Steel Complex, IMIDRO and Iran's Association of Steel Producers in fields of technological development and indigenization, adding that despite sanctions, good activities and measures in the mining industry of the country in technological development and indigenization have happened.
During his visit, head of planning and technology department of Khorasan Steel Complex briefed Mr. Sattari about measures and activities of IMIDRO and Iran's Association of Steel Producers in the technological development and indigenization, adding that these measures have been carried out by two major wings: creating a system and Research and Steel Technology Fund.
Eng. Esmaeeli during his talks with Mr. Sattari announced unveiling the pervasive system for  steel technological development, adding that the Steel Research and Technology Fund has been established with 100b tomans of capitals by 11 steel companies and under leadership of IMIDRO and Iran's Association of Steel Producers as well as the Iran National Innovation Fund. He noted that the fund will sail the steel industry safely from the cruel sanctions pressures.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Sattari expressed hope that by persistence of Khorasan Steel Complex on research and implementing the outcome of the reach, the industry would soon witness tangible results of the researches.
